NOTE TO SELF: Read at least three of the following books by November 30th, 2008.

  • The Chronicles of Chrestomanci, Volume I by Diana Wynne Jones
  • The Lives of Christopher Chant by Diane Wynne Jones
  • The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
  • Sabriel by Garth Nix
  • Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk
  • The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman
  • Larklight: A Rousing Tale of Dauntless Pluck in the Farthest Reaches of Space by Philip Reeve
  • A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle
  • The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde


    These books were selected from the massive reading list for the tl;dr reading challenge hosted by [info]bottle_of_shine (challenge otherwise known as 342,745 Ways to Herd Cats). I know I'm a bit late in selecting books, but I think I'll have enough time to do it. I sort of forgot about it for a while. ^^; The books that don't get read by November 30th, I still intend to read someday. :x

    Also, note to other people who might be reading this. For the most part, I've only selected books that I own and/or haven't already read. If you'd like to look over the massive reading list and enthusiastically recommend something I haven't included in my list, feel free to do so! I shall try my damnedest to get a hold of whatever it is you suggest. Even if I have to wait until I get to college to do it. >>;

    Likewise, if there's anything on this list that you would like to vehemently veto, let me know, preferably with a reasonable cause, and I will hear you out. That doesn't mean I'll take it off the list, but I'll at least take it into account. XD


    PS: NO MORE HIGH SCHOOL. :D

    HAVE YOU READ THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE? If not, stop after like the first 100 pages. I'm so serious. :/

    Also The Lives of Christopher Chant is half of Chronicles vol 1, so there's that.

    Uh. No. XD I just put it on there cuz I've heard lots of people mention it.

    Oh well, I've got that going for me, at least! I have the Chronicles book.
